It's been raining this whole week here. I'm kinda missing mr. sun. =)
Hmmm, our summer is fading a little now, so that means yours must be just around the corner. Nice for you, not so nice for us. There has to be some kind of mass house swap scheme we could instigate for those who crave the cold and those (like me) who wouldn't mind cutting out the cold entirely!
You make me want to embrace the summer! I have been feeling so, so hot recently and dreaming of autumn. I should throw on a sundress and head out into the sunshine! :)
These photos are gorgeous and they make me want to go on vacation. It's been such a dreary summer here. But today is actually nice so I shouldn't complain. Hope it warms up for you soon!xoValerie
oh I just remembered you are in Australia where it's kind of chilly right? As Valerie says above, your post makes me want to go on vacation again. We are thinking of Nantucket for Labor day so now I think we must do it. Hope you get some gorgeous weather soon!naina
Mel: It's so miserable without the sun, isn't? Especially in summer!angelcel: Oh, definitely!! Quite a few older people, retirees, here have the right idea - they stay in Victoria for about six months during the warmer months, and then when winter hits, they take off up to Queensland and have a lovely mild winter. Sounds like the perfect idea to me!Robin: You totally should! You'll have cold weather before you know it! And winter always seems to last so much longer than summer for some reason...Valerie: I've read so many blogs based in the States who have said the same thing about summer, that it's kind of been a non-event. Boo for that! I hope you get a bit more sunshine before the season ends.Naina: Yeah, it has been pretty cold and chilly here the past few weeks, but we did have the second hottest summer on record last year so probably shouldn't complain too much! And I've just googled Nantucket (all I know of it is a poem about a boy...), it looks absolutely gorgeous! Nantucket gets my vote for your weekend away :)
This post is dreamy. I too daydream about soaking up warm rays. The beach is my favorite place on earth.xo M
Me too I'm dying of cold, but I love the winter!
Great photos :) Where do you live though?! It's summer here in Canada!! Wolly socks?! Yikes!!
Hehe. I love summer too. I'm really craving some warm sun on my skin. It's sunny today, and I'm trying my best NOT to feel sleepy and lazy. I want to get energy from the sun!I really want some warmth. I should go outside, instead of spending all my time on the laptop in a dark room! Haha.:)~Zabrinah
